The National Account / Program Manager is the strategic lead for a run and soccer speciality, accountable for translating business priorities into clear, actionable field execution. This role ensures that every Brand Specialist within the speciality is aligned, equipped, and supported to deliver against adidas growth goals.
YOUR IMPACT IN THE ROLE:
- Serve as the primary strategic partner and key liaison to adidas Wholesale Marketing & Sales for your respective vertical.
- Own the seasonal strategy, priorities, and execution roadmap for all Specialists in your respective vertical.
- Provide a single point of accountability for performance, communication, and expectations.
- Ensure clarity and consistency across Product Educators, Community Activators, and Brand Reps within the vertical.
- Partner closely with adidas category teams to translate BU needs into field action.
- Lead data-driven decisions by reviewing weekly performance, insights, and needs with Specialists.
- Collaborate with the Field Marketing Managers to ensure field coaching, training, and talent support roll up to the vertical’s strategic goals.
- Elevate areas of opportunity early and recommend solutions that drive operational excellence and sales impact.
- Represent your vertical in cross-functional planning, reporting, and strategic workstreams.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
- 7+ years proven experience in team leadership responsible for leading high-performing teams.
- Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Deep understanding of the distribution of your vertical (Run + Soccer Speciality).
- Innovative problem-solver with a passion for enhancing team performance and program impact.
- Collaborative team player who builds trust and drives alignment across departments and stakeholders.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills to provide clear guidelines and examples to the internal and adidas Team.
- Proven ability to connect field execution to business outcomes.
- Excellent writing and organizational skills with attention to detail and an exceptional ability to write, present, and share ideas clearly.
- Enjoys a mix of office work and getting into the field, spending 25% of time traveling and in market.
WHAT ELSE YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- This role is based in Portland, OR and does require at least 3 in-office days per week.
- The expected salary range for this position is $100,000-$120,000. Final compensation will be based on experience, skill set, and other job-related factors, and will be discussed during the interview process.
