adidas Brand Specialist Program

As an adidas Running Market Specialist, you’ll own the running category in your market - driving adidas success in both specialty retail and within the local running community. This role is about influence and impact: building authentic connections with runners, empowering retail partners through education, and creating experiences that turn trial into trust. You’ll be the go-to adidas expert in your market, ensuring the brand shows up where it matters most - in stores, on the streets, and at the heart of running culture. 

YOUR IMPACT IN THE ROLE:

  • Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with local running clubs, specialty stores, and grassroots partners to position adidas as a trusted voice in the running community.
  • Event Activation: Plan and execute demo runs, in-store activations, and community events that create trial opportunities and deepen consumer connection to adidas products.
  • Retail Education & Support: Deliver engaging product trainings and hands-on selling support in priority doors, ensuring retail teams have the confidence and knowledge to recommend adidas running products.
  • Product Expertise: Serve as a category expert, educating both consumers and retail associates on adidas technologies and innovations to drive conversion and advocacy.
  • Brand Representation: Represent adidas authentically at community and retail touchpoints, elevating the brand experience and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Feedback & Insights: Capture learnings from activations and store visits to inform future strategies and strengthen adidas’ presence in the market.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Deep understanding of and passion for running and the running community.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to balance multiple priorities across retail and community.
  • 4–6 years of experience in event activation, retail training, or related roles within sports or lifestyle brands.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire and educate diverse audiences.
  • Highly organized and self-sufficient, capable of working independently while collaborating with cross-functional partners.
  • Comfortable adapting to a dynamic schedule and managing travel across your market.

WHAT ELSE YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • In this position you will be an Archrival Agent, employed through the agency but representing adidas.
  • You will be expected to work 40 hours a week with a Wednesday-Sunday workweek, including occasional evenings.
  • There is no office for this position. When you’re not in stores, you’re in the car. When you’re not in the car, you’re in the stores, with some working from home time sprinkled in.
  • You must have access to a reliable vehicle with the required insurance minimums (we’ll reimburse you for certain work-related mileage).

COMPENSATION

$65,000*
*Compensation is derived from sound market data, and is reviewed yearly to ensure fair, competitive wages are maintained. Compensation may be discussed with final candidates and determined based upon the market.
